Bardonecchia

Located in the old municipal building, the museum displays objects that document the past daily life in the territory of Bardonecchia, profoundly altered over the centuries, especially after 1871, when the Frejus tunnel was opened. Agriculture, artisanal activities such as wood-carving and textiles, animal breeding were the main activities at the time. You can see as well the traditional dress for women and the precious bobbin laces, still produced nowadays.
