Ancient forge
Bruzolo
Next to the old canal of the mills, in the upper part of Bruzolo, near Pratosellero, stands the Antica Fucina, one of the oldest smithies of Piedmont. The first document that mentions the “forge” of Bruzolo dates back to 1282, it belonged to the feudal lords until 1720. In 1797 it passed to the Olivero family who managed it until the early 1960s. It has been acquired by the Municipality of Bruzolo and restored in 2019.
